The new Testo 560i Digital Refrigerant Scale with Intelligent Valve revolutionises the charging of refrigeration systems and heat pumps. The 560i includes automatic charging according to the target value, thanks to patented technology. It pairs over Bluetooth with our Refrigeration Manifolds, including the 557s, 550s and 550i, so the target value is set and watched from the instrument already in your hand.

Readings travel wirelessly, reaching up to 30 m from the scale on its own and up to 150 m once a manifold is in the chain. Add the 115i, 549i or 605i from our Smart Probes range and superheat, subcooling and weight all arrive in the same measurement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Testo 560i refrigerant scale do?

It weighs refrigerant during charging and sends the reading to a Testo manifold and the Testo Smart App over Bluetooth. It resolves to 10 g, displays in kg, and takes all common refrigerant containers up to a maximum load of 100 kg. 

Can it charge a system automatically to a target value?

Yes, when it is paired with the intelligent refrigerant valve. The valve is sold separately, or with the scale as a kit. Together they charge automatically to a target superheat, subcooling or refrigerant weight, controlled from the manifold or the app. 

How far does the Bluetooth connection reach?

The scale reaches up to 30 m on its own, and up to 150 m when it is used together with a Testo manifold. The valve reaches up to 50 m on its own and up to 150 m with a manifold. 

Which manifolds and probes does the 560i work with?

It is compatible with the Testo 557s, 550s and 550i digital manifolds and the earlier 557 and 550 models, and with the 115i, 549i and 605i Smart Probes. 

How long does it run on batteries, and is it protected on site?

The scale runs up to 70 hours on four replaceable AA batteries with an auto power-off function, and carries IP44 dust and splash water protection. The valve runs over 60 hours on a replaceable 9 V block battery and carries IP54.
